Michael Burchell, Ed.D. is Vice President, Global Business Development at the Great Place to Work Institute, Inc. A member of the corporate team, Michael oversees business development of multinational clients across the affiliate network, and supports affiliate growth and development world-wide.

Michael is co-author of The Great Workplace: How to Build It, How to Keep It and Why It Matters. Previously, Michael led consulting services for the Institute in the US. He also co-owns Great Place to Work Institute UAE based in Dubai. Prior to joining the Institute, Michael worked at W. L. Gore & Associates, and the University of Massachusetts. Michael received his doctorate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and also holds degrees from Colorado State University and the University of Southern California.

Michael’s address is in Washington, DC, but he lives in seat 8A on flights to various destinations around the globe.
