Great Place to Work Canada has been following the situation around Covid-19 as it relates to the 2020 Awards Summit and Trust Summit. We have been closely monitoring updates and recommendations from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as provincial and local governments. After a careful review of the current situation with Covid-19 and listening to the guidance provided by the local authorities, we regret to announce that we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Awards Ceremony.

While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff, and community very seriously. We are doing everything that a responsible business in our position can do to mitigate the risk posed by Covid-19. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.

The revealing of the awards will still go ahead in April and the feature will still be published by the Globe and Mail but please bear with us while we formulate a plan so the awards ceremony can still be enjoyed safely in a digital format. We will be in touch with more details soon.

We are delighted to announce that Great Place to Work® Canada will be hosting a must-attend summit on April 15 in Toronto, the "Trust Summit” presented by the acclaimed author of “Trust Rules: How the World’s Best Managers Create Great Places to Work” Bob Lee!’ Attendees can choose from a morning or afternoon session prior to the Awards Ceremony in the evening.

Early bird tickets are now on sales. Early bird rates end on March 15.
