Amal Youth and Family Centre

In Arabic, Amal means “hope.” Our vision is to be a centre of hope, and a warm,
welcoming, respectful, and diverse organization in which individuals from myriad backgrounds thrive and succeed together. The mission of Amal is to provide innovative services responsive to the needs of individuals, families, and communities. Amal aims to provide services that are trauma-informed, neurodiverse, and culturally, racially, linguistically, and developmentally sensitive. Our underlying philosophy is to provide support and intervention that is tailored to the needs of those we serve. Our focus is on strength based, relational engagement that builds capacity and resilience.
