Who is eligible for Best Workplaces™ lists?

Companies that have at least 10 employees in Canada and are Great Place to Work-Certified™ are eligible for Best Workplaces™ lists.

How can I apply for Best Workplaces™ lists?

You don't have to apply for any of our Best Workplaces™ lists; you simply need to be a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization. Once you are Certified, you are automatically considered for all relevant Best Workplaces™ lists for the 12 months your Certification is valid for.

How many Best Workplaces™ lists are there?

We publish multiple Best Workplaces™ lists throughout the year! You can view all of our recent Best Workplaces™ lists here. 

How are the Best Workplaces™ selected?

Best Workplaces™ are determined from the pool of Certified organizations and the qualifying organizations are those that meet the highest levels of the specific criteria for that specific list. 

For example, for our list of Best Workplaces in Technology, we identify companies with the highest scores from the pool of Certified companies working in the technology sector. While, for our list of Best Workplaces for Women, we identify the Certified companies scoring best on parameters such as gender inclusion.

Is there a deadline to apply for the Best Workplaces lists?

There is no deadline to apply for Certification and you can get your employees surveyed during any 2-week period of your choice. Once you are Certified, you will be considered for all relevant Best Workplaces lists for 12 months.

However, there are deadlines for each of our Best Workplaces™ lists. For us to consider you for a particular list, you must be Certified by that list's deadline mentioned in the list calendar.

Do we need to pay additional fees to get on the Best Workplaces™ lists?

There is no fee to get on any of our Best Workplaces™ list. You'll only pay once for Great Place to Work-Certification™ which makes you eligible for all Best Workplaces™ lists. Your Great Place to Work-Certification™ is valid for 12 months from the day you become Certified.
