José Tolovi Neto

MANAGING PARTNER

José Tolovi Neto is the Managing Partner for Great Place to Work® Canada. Before starting this position in 2008, he was a Partner and the Vice President of our Brazilian affiliate, where he is still a board member.

José has been studying the characteristics of high-trust work cultures for over 10 years and uses this experience to help companies create and sustain great working environments. He has been a guest speaker at several conferences and seminars and is frequently asked to contribute to a variety of business and HR management publications. Prior to joining the Institute, José was a senior business executive in the technology industry, having worked for organizations such as Microsoft and EDS in Brazil, England, Germany and Spain. He holds Bachelor and Graduate degrees in business management from FGV (ranked Latin America’s top business school).

José has two daughters and lives with his family in Toronto

Priscila Porto

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Priscila Porto is the Operations Director at Great Place to Work® Canada. Experienced in online administration of our employee survey in numerous organizations, Priscila ensures that our survey tool functions seamlessly at each client site.

An expert at generating different data slices and benchmarking options for survey data, Priscila offers our clients the opportunity to examine their survey results from different detailed perspectives.

Priscila lives in Toronto with her husband and two young daughters and enjoys various outdoor activities with them.

Brenda Fleming

LIST MANAGER

Brenda Fleming is the Best Workplaces™ in Canada’s List Manager, supervising the list process from nominations to publication, and ensuring delivery of reports and services. Brenda has been with the Institute since 2006 and has been a steady point of contact for our clients.

With several years' experience in a variety of senior administrative roles in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, Brenda keeps the organization running smoothly and efficiently dealing with any issues that arise.

Brenda would rather be working in the wings than in the spotlight. To that end, she has developed a talent in back-stage support in her local arts community. Brenda and her husband are devoted to their two teenage daughters and their many extra-curricular activities.

Alison Grenier

HEAD OF RESEARCH & CULTURE

As Head of Research & Culture, Alison is responsible for GPTW’s research initiatives and staying on top of emerging trends among the Best Workplaces in Canada.

Alison is skilled in high-level analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data, providing organizations with specific and actionable feedback to improve their workplace culture. Prior to joining the Institute, Alison worked in a variety of human resource roles in the manufacturing, not-for-profit and service sectors.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys exploring beautiful British Columbia with her husband and four children.

Lina Rodriguez

PROJECT COORDINATOR

As a project coordinator, Lina guides clients through the end-to-end process of the Trust Index Survey. Some specific logistics she works through with clients include data analysis of client trust surveys and logistical coordination of client survey completion.

A former project analyst in Colombia, she also has a background in engineering and the banking industry. With a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College, Lina has a broad knowledge base that she applies to HR analysis that sheds light on the gaps organizations face in employee trust and engagement.

Melanie Drouin

REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Melanie Drouin is the Regional Director for Quebec at Great Place to Work® Canada. She joined GPTW following a very successful 20-year career in Marketing Research. Having managed, coached & grown people in fast-paced, high-stress, multicultural environments while working with clients from all industries, Melanie learned first-hand the value of people-centered leadership. Melanie has facilitated leadership workshops and supported leaders in North America, EMEA & APAC and is excited to spend more time working in Quebec.

Melanie attended McGill university where she studied Human Resources Management with a focus on organizational behaviour, training & development. She lives in Montreal, loves to travel to experience different cultures and uses photography to tell the tales of adventures.

Heather Poliwoda

Account Manager

Heather is an Account Manager at Great Place to Work® Canada. She has over 20+ years of sales experience and a track record of success in business development on a national scale. She has worked for a wide variety of employers, increasing her skills and knowledge along the way.

Along with these skills, Heather has a high proficiency in the use of social media, event management and promotion. Heather likes to travel, meet new people and most of all respects people with a great sense of humour like her own.
