José Tolovi Neto


José Tolovi Neto is the Managing Partner for Great Place to Work® Institute in Canada. Before starting this position in 2008, he was a Partner and the Vice President of our Brazilian affiliate, where he is still a board member.

José has been studying the characteristics of high-trust work cultures for over 10 years and uses this experience to help companies create and sustain great working environments. He has been a guest speaker at several conferences and seminars and is frequently asked to contribute to a variety of business and HR management publications. Prior to joining the Institute, José was a senior business executive in the technology industry, having worked for organizations such as Microsoft and EDS in Brazil, England, Germany and Spain. He holds Bachelor and Graduate degrees in business management from FGV (ranked Latin America’s top business school).

José has two daughters and lives with his family in Toronto.

Nancy Fonseca


Nancy Fonseca is a Senior Vice President of Great Place to Work® in Canada. Nancy is accountable for helping to build executive relationships based on trust, collaboration and partnering with key stakeholders both in business and in the community.

Nancy has a strong track record in strategic planning and execution, enabling organizations to obtain great results. In a number of leadership capacities, Nancy has supported leading Canadian organizations reach higher levels and brings extensive experience to Great Place to Work ® Canada.

Nancy speaks four languages and has broad international experiences and perspectives.

Ron Grey


Ron Grey is a Senior Vice President of Great Place to Work® in Canada and an organizational psychologist. Ron is accountable for providing clients with consulting and advanced research services to help them get greatest value from our workplace assessment and transformation services.

Prior to joining Great Place to Work®, Ron led global and national practices in strategy and organization, employee research, leadership development and talent management for multinational consulting and survey research firms. He has extensive experience working with clients across a broad spectrum of industries/sectors to assess and build organizational cultures and great workplaces that achieve superior business results.

Ron is an avid golfer and tennis player and lives with his family in Toronto.

Jen Wetherow


Jen Wetherow is the Senior Director for Great Place to Work® in Canada. Jen has been with the Institute since its inception in 2005. Prior to this, she worked as a policy analyst for the federal government and also has management experience with a major charitable organization.

Having worked in the public, private, and not-for-profit sector, she brings a broad understanding of organizational culture. Jen is also a frequent guest speaker and workshop leader at conferences across the country. Participants rave about her enthusiastic and engaging style and appreciate the abundance of "best practice" examples she shares.

Jen has three children and lives with her family in Kelowna.

Priscila Porto


Priscila Porto is Operations Director for Great Place to Work® in Canada. Experienced in the online administration of our employee survey in numerous organizations, Priscila ensures that our survey tool functions seamlessly at each client site.

An expert at generating different data slices and benchmarking options for survey data, Priscila offers our clients the opportunity to examine their survey results from different detailed perspectives.

Priscila lives in Toronto with her husband and two young daughters and enjoys various outdoor activities with them.

Brenda Fleming


Brenda Fleming is the Best Workplaces in Canada’s List Manager, supervising the list process from nominations to publication, and ensuring delivery of reports and services. Brenda has been with the institute since 2006 and has been a steady point of contact for our clients.

With several years' experience in a variety of senior administrative roles in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, Brenda keeps the organization running smoothly and efficiently dealing with any issues that arise.

Brenda would rather be working in the wings than in the spotlight. To that end, she has developed a talent in back-stage support in her local arts community. Brenda and her husband are devoted to their two teenage daughters and their many extra-curricular activities.

Alison Grenier


As the Culture Audit© Manager for the Great Place to Work® in Canada, Alison Grenier is responsible for the evaluation and reporting of Culture Audit data and writing the Best People Practices report.

With years of experience reading and evaluating Culture Audits, Alison’s extensive knowledge of current policies and practices at Canada’s Best Workplaces provide a valuable resource for the organization. Alison is skilled in high-level analysis of survey data and organizational practices, providing companies with specific feedback on their initiatives to create and sustain a great workplace. Alison has recently put this knowledge into action, co-facilitating Great Place to Work Journey training sessions. Prior to joining the Institute, Alison worked in a variety of human resource roles in both the manufacturing and service sectors.

Alison enjoys making bread (the real way) and exploring beautiful British Columbia with her husband and their four young children. Alison firmly believes that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Matt Pietrangelo


As a Project Coordinator at Great Place to Work Canada, Matt's primary responsibility is facilitating the day-to-day logistics of survey administration and report production. He is also a part of the GPTW Administration Team where he assists with processing and managing accounts receivable.

Matt has a Finance background and is a newly-designated Certified Human Resources Professional. He lives in Toronto and enjoys economics, baseball, and country music.

Jeff Brown


Jeff is a Project Coordinator at Great Place to Work in Canada. He’s the point of contact during the survey lifecycle, supporting companies with the administration process and also developing and delivering reports to customers. Having graduated with a degree in Marketing, Jeff joined GPTW after completing post-graduate studies in HR Management in May of 2015. He’s a sports fanatic and enjoys hanging out with friends. Go Red Wings!

Daniela Friggi Lu


Dani has more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources management and consulting. She is passionate about spreading the seeds of successful transformation and brings a proven track record working in big multinationals such as Deloitte, PwC, AT&T and Accenture. Her focus and experience include client engagements in HR strategic planning, talent management, career development, as well as transformational projects such as change management, leadership and coaching.

Dani enjoys travelling and meeting new people and cultures.

Luana Lamas


Luana is a Project Coordinator and a Design Specialist at Great Place to Work in Canada. She’s the point of contact during the survey lifecycle, supporting companies with the administration process, reports development and delivery to customers; besides that, she is also the creative mind behind all GPTW Canada handouts, signage and website. Having a B.A. in Visual Design, Luana joined GPTW after completing her post-graduate studies in HR Management in December 2015. She’s a singer in two of the top Toronto bands and loves traveling, rock music and tattoos.


Angelica Franco


At Great Place to Work Canada, Angelica is responsible for supporting clients and account managers during the survey process. In addition to that, she is also responsible for reviewing and implementing new people practices at Great Place to Work Canada. She recently moved to Canada from Brazil, where she worked for Great Place to Work for 5 years as a consultant. With a bachelor’s in International Relations, Angelica also joined GPTW Canada after completing her Human Resources Management certificate in 2016.
