José Tolovi Neto

MANAGING PARTNER

José Tolovi Neto is the Managing Partner for Great Place to Work® Canada. Before starting this position in 2008, he was a Partner and the Vice President of our Brazilian affiliate, where he is still a board member.

José has been studying the characteristics of high-trust work cultures for over 10 years and uses this experience to help companies create and sustain great working environments. He has been a guest speaker at several conferences and seminars and is frequently asked to contribute to a variety of business and HR management publications. Prior to joining the Institute, José was a senior business executive in the technology industry, having worked for organizations such as Microsoft and EDS in Brazil, England, Germany and Spain. He holds Bachelor and Graduate degrees in business management from FGV (ranked Latin America’s top business school).

José has two daughters and lives with his family in Toronto.

Nancy Fonseca

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Nancy Fonseca is a Senior Vice President at Great Place to Work® Canada. Nancy is accountable for helping to build executive relationships based on trust, collaboration and partnering with key stakeholders both in business and in the community.

Nancy has a strong track record in strategic planning and execution, enabling organizations to obtain great results. In a number of leadership capacities, Nancy has supported leading Canadian organizations reach higher levels and brings extensive experience to Great Place to Work® Canada.

Nancy speaks four languages and has broad international experiences and perspectives.

Ron Grey

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Ron Grey is a Senior Vice President at Great Place to Work® in Canada and an organizational psychologist. Ron is accountable for providing clients with consulting and advanced research services to help them get greatest value from our workplace assessment and transformation services.

Prior to joining Great Place to Work®, Ron led global and national practices in strategy and organization, employee research, leadership development and talent management for multinational consulting and survey research firms. He has extensive experience working with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and sectors to assess and build organizational cultures and great workplaces that achieve superior business results.

Ron is an avid golfer and tennis player and lives with his family in Toronto.

Jen Wetherow

SENIOR DIRECTOR

Jen Wetherow is the Senior Director at Great Place to Work® Canada. Jen has been with the Institute since its inception in 2005. Prior to this, she worked as a policy analyst for the federal government and also has management experience with a major charitable organization.

Having worked in the public, private, and not-for-profit sector, she brings a broad understanding of organizational culture. Jen is also a frequent guest speaker and workshop leader at conferences across the country. Participants rave about her enthusiastic and engaging style and appreciate the abundance of "best practice" examples she shares.

Jen has three children and lives with her family in Kelowna.

Priscila Porto

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Priscila Porto is the Operations Director at Great Place to Work® Canada. Experienced in online administration of our employee survey in numerous organizations, Priscila ensures that our survey tool functions seamlessly at each client site.

An expert at generating different data slices and benchmarking options for survey data, Priscila offers our clients the opportunity to examine their survey results from different detailed perspectives.

Priscila lives in Toronto with her husband and two young daughters and enjoys various outdoor activities with them.

Brenda Fleming

LIST MANAGER

Brenda Fleming is the Best Workplaces™ in Canada’s List Manager, supervising the list process from nominations to publication, and ensuring delivery of reports and services. Brenda has been with the Institute since 2006 and has been a steady point of contact for our clients.

With several years' experience in a variety of senior administrative roles in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, Brenda keeps the organization running smoothly and efficiently dealing with any issues that arise.

Brenda would rather be working in the wings than in the spotlight. To that end, she has developed a talent in back-stage support in her local arts community. Brenda and her husband are devoted to their two teenage daughters and their many extra-curricular activities.

Alison Grenier

HEAD OF RESEARCH & CULTURE

As Head of Research & Culture, Alison is responsible for GPTW’s research initiatives and staying on top of emerging trends among the Best Workplaces in Canada.

Alison is skilled in high-level analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data, providing organizations with specific and actionable feedback to improve their workplace culture. Prior to joining the Institute, Alison worked in a variety of human resource roles in the manufacturing, not-for-profit and service sectors.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys exploring beautiful British Columbia with her husband and four children.

Daniela Friggi Lu

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Dani has more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources management and consulting. She is passionate about spreading the seeds of successful transformation and brings a proven track record working in big multinationals such as Deloitte, PwC, AT&T and Accenture. Her focus and experience include client engagements in HR strategic planning, talent management, career development, as well as transformational projects such as change management, leadership and coaching.

Dani enjoys travelling and meeting new people and cultures.

Angelica Franco

PROJECT COORDINATOR

At Great Place to Work® Canada, Angelica is responsible for supporting clients and account managers during the survey process. In addition to that, she is also responsible for reviewing and implementing new people practices at Great Place to Work® Canada.

She moved to Canada from Brazil, where she worked for Great Place to Work® for 5 years as a consultant. With a bachelor’s in International Relations, Angelica joined GPTW Canada after completing her Human Resources Management certificate in 2016.

Lina Rodriguez

PROJECT COORDINATOR

As a project coordinator, Lina guides clients through the end-to-end process of the Trust Index Survey. Some specific logistics she works through with clients include data analysis of client trust surveys and logistical coordination of client survey completion.

A former project analyst in Colombia, she also has a background in engineering and the banking industry. With a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College, Lina has a broad knowledge base that she applies to HR analysis that sheds light on the gaps organizations face in employee trust and engagement.

Abhishek Gandhi

MARKETING SPECIALIST

Abhishek Gandhi is the Marketing Specialist for Great Place to Work® Canada. Responsible for communication initiatives and governance of the online brand, Abhishek leads projects pertaining to branding, website and online media.

With extensive experience in brand strategy, communication, product development and event management, Abhishek has worked in consulting and real estate in marketing roles. His skills in project management have enabled him to enhance client satisfaction and manage increasingly more complex projects in his previous roles.

With an MBA in Marketing from the Management Development Institute (MDI) in Gurgaon, India, and marketing and project management certificates from Humber College and GH Aue Services in Toronto, Abhishek brings a blend of academic and industry knowledge to his role.

Lukas Pesa

CLIENT AND BUSINESS CONTENT SPECIALIST

As Client and Business Content Specialist for Great Place to Work® Canada, Lukas is responsible for new business initiatives and channel partnerships. His role specifically involves managing the communication channels between Great Place to Work® and collaboration partners.

With experience in business development, communications and branding, Lukas has worked in the consulting business and on marketing business initiatives for clients in multiple industries. His skills in business development and communications management on the agency and client side have enabled him to develop a broad business mindset from multiple perspectives.

A University of Toronto graduate in Liberal Arts, Lukas also has a certificate in corporate communications and public relations from Centennial College. His mixed education in academia and industry training allows him to develop business initiatives with a broad mindset.

Michelle Prashad

ACCOUNTS AND ADMINISTRATION

At Great Place to Work® Canada, Michelle is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to senior partners in their day-to-day activities. In addition to that, her role involves updating client accounts and creating management and financial reports to the senior executives.

As a graduate from the University of Guelph-Humber in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Michelle has worked in the mortgage industry as well as a sales specialist. Her experience includes client management as well as financial analysis which allows her to build relationships with clients and analyze business results from multiple divisions.

Her hobbies include travelling to different countries and experiencing their cultures and traditions. She also enjoys watching the Toronto Blue Jays and indulging in her favourite TV episodes of “Scandal” and “This Is Us”.

Timothy Timur Tiryaki

REGIONAL DIRECTOR and SENIOR CONSULTANT

Timothy Tiryaki MEd. is the Regional Director / Senior Consultant for British Columbia at Great Place to Work® Canada. Timothy joined the organization after being an advocate, speaker and writer for a decade spreading the trust index and the journey of becoming a great place to work.

He brings a wealth of experience from reputable brands including Procter & Gamble, Intel, Index Group, and BDC (Business Development Bank of Canada). He is also pursuing a PhD in Leadership Development at Simon Fraser University and has published four books on the topic of personal development in Turkish.

Karina Rasmussen

Account Director

Karina Rasmussen is the Account Director at Great Place to Work Canada and works closely with clients to drive high-trust and high performing work cultures. Karina brings deep knowledge in the Learning and Development field and employee engagement. Her Consulting and Talent Development roles have included, private, public and not-for-profit organizations, from start-up Tech firms to large Multi-Nationals. In addition, she has held senior corporate roles in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Business Development.

She is a graduate of Ryerson University, Adult Learning and Development program, as well as the Digital Marketing program at George Brown College. Passionate about cultivating total-wellbeing in the workplace and personal life, Karina volunteers for Partners for Mental Health, and regularly practices mindfulness and yoga.
