Today, hundreds of thousands of business owners across Canada use a broad set of Square tools, engineered in part by Canadian engineers, to reach buyers online and in person, and manage their business. Canadian engineers on the Cash App team are redefining the world’s relationship with money. Spiral builds and funds free, open-source Bitcoin projects. Canadian artists use TIDAL to help them succeed as entrepreneurs and connect more deeply with fans. TBD is building an open developer platform to make it easier to access Bitcoin and other blockchain technologies without having to go through an institution.
