About The Company

Category Communications is a Toronto-based, women-led PR agency, founded in 2024 on the belief that great communications work starts with deeply understanding our clients’ industries. We help executives and brands in tech, real estate, and financial services build visibility and credibility through media relations, thought leadership, executive positioning, and issues management. We are built on one simple idea: great client work comes from investing in great people. In the past year, we doubled to 16 people and promoted five from within. Our team also gets four weeks of vacation, monthly culture events, an annual wellness retreat, and charitable giving that reflects what we care about.
